Epi van de Pol is one of the founders of the Dutch Taijiquan Association and teaches all over the world.
He decided - after 22 years of teaching Tai Chi - to take a sabbatical in 2001. This period became a bit longer and lasted until 2007. During that period Epi gave weekend - or week-classes in Tai Chi all over Europe. In 2008 he was convinced that it was time to propagate all he had learned and understood when deeply exploring Tai Chi. This insight is related to Tai Chi as far as the principles and the hand form. ‘This sabbatical period I have spent particularly with Wee Kee Jin but also with Peter Ralston. The form I am teaching now is the form of Wee Kee Jin. He had learned it from Huang Sheng Shyan who was in turn a student of Cheng Man Ching.’
